& Local Affairs
Jessica Pacheco is
vice president, state & local affairs for Arizona Public Service (APS),
the state’s largest and longest-serving electricity utility.
In 2009, Pacheco
returned to APS as director of government affairs. She guided the
company’s state and local government strategy, advocacy efforts and
managed stakeholder relationships.
She is active as a director with a number of community and business organizations, including the Arizona Mexico Commission, ASU Center for Political Thought and Leadership, Arizona Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Arizona Charter Schools Association, Great Hearts Academies, Childhelp and Jewish Family and Children’s Services. Pacheco is a past director for the Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Board and Maricopa Community College Foundation Board and is past chair of the Border Trade Alliance Board.
Pacheco earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arizona and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
