Andrea M. Kalmanovitz has a breadth of public relations experience including grassroots public affairs, crisis communication and issues management, traditional media relations, corporate internal communications and social media campaigns. Andrea began her career in public affairs with the number one ranked non-publicly traded boutique agency in Southern California. Client portfolios ranged from non-profit organizations to Fortune 500 companies, providing public relations strategy and education programs.

In recognition of her achievements, Andrea has received Public Relations industry awards for client campaigns including Harrah’s Entertainment, D.R. Horton’s and the Tiger Woods Learning Center.

On the client side, Andrea was the Director of Public Relations and Media for preeminent real estate developers Avenue Communities, Trillium Residential and Germaine Partners based in Tempe, Ariz., notably a developer whom acquired over $1.8 billion in projects in Metropolitan Phoenix and the Southwest including high profile Centerpoint Condominiums.

In 2009, Andrea co-founded Alchemy PR and Marketing and has led national and local media relations initiatives for a variety of clients including Realty Executives International, a global real estate franchisor with over 700 franchises in 24 countries, Southwest Section of the PGA’s real estate network, and Local Motors, an international automotive co-creation company.

As an active member of the community, Andrea held a position on the Board of Directors for Friends of Animal Care and Control, Maricopa County’s nonprofit entity helping to end euthanasia of healthy and adoptable pets, volunteered in the founding of Mayor Phil Gordon’s Phoenix Global Trade Initiatives, and was the former managing director for TRACares Foundation. Andrea is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. She graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and an emphasis in Interpersonal Communications.
